MESCALEROS se empezó a formar durante el verano de 2006, cuando Amadeo le propuso a su amigo Javi formar un grupo de hard rock. Más tarde se incorporó Alfonso (hermano de Amadeo) y el proyecto fue tomando forma. Amadeo y Alfonso habían militado en varias formaciones del área metropolitana de Barcelona en los años 80 (Eleazar de Worms, Ariadne…).
